Walking Blind

Amenhotep decided to go for a quick wade through the forest. He wasn't thinking very straight. He had just been informed that there was a raid in his village, and many were killed. This included his parents, so he was especially sad. "I have got to get back on my game," Amenhotep said. "I can't be letting crap like this consume me." Amenhotep was especially careful, as he was in a forest. He didn't know who or what would come after him so he walked through with caution. Still, the thoughts of the raid clouded his mind.

Kisorgi had seen the man whom seemed troubled. He decided to follow him since he was on break. It also seemed he was a Genin, which was slightly surprising. Why the boy was going on a walk, was beyond him. He knew however, he should keep an eye on him. Just so he wouldn't get in trouble. If the boy did get in trouble and he was at the scene to prevent something it would be his arse that would be grass. He decided to try to talk to him, "Hey! You! Wait up." He started to run up to Amenhotep to catch up to him.

"Who the hell would be calling my name?" Amenhotep wondered. He turned around to see Kisorgi, one of those Chunins. Then, he pulled his belt up and replied, "What's up." Amenhotep was still wondering why Kisorgi, a Chunin would be conversing with him, a Genin.

"Why are you out here? It seems like an odd time. I also came since you seemed both alone and seemed troubled about something." He said, then looked around, "Just remember, It's not like I will try to kill you, I could have already, trust me." He smiled at the thought. He felt powerful. It was a fantastic feeling he felt back on that fateful day of the fight.

"It is nothing." Amenhotep said, forcing a smile. "No need to worry about me."

"Please, I can tell that you were troubled in the village. You can't fool me, I hope you know." He said, his hand hovering around his sword, "Be careful or at least more careful."

Amenhotep brushed his hands over his face. "Want to know? Fine. So I was waking up this morning and got this letter. It was from my older brother. The letter read,
'Brother, Mother and Father are dead! The neighboring village has attacked!' and some other bullcrap that I saw before I ripped up the paper and wept."

"If you wish for me to leave tell me, but if you wish for my help tell me. I am willing to do either as I wish." He said, nervous for some reason, "How far to the village anyway?"

"It's in the desert. Hell, I still have some sand in a pair of my shoes from the expedition."

"That's not too bad, so tell me, do you want me help or not?" He said, waiting on an honest answer. If he answered yes, he guessed an adventure, if no, He would still follow just in case. "What's your clan anyway? Arn't you part of mine?"

"Yeah, I'm in that Rindar clan of yours." Amenhotep replied. "I could try coming back to the village, but that could take months. Well actually, it took like 4 years for me to get from THERE to HERE."

"Then what are you to do? Go and be considered missing or get a mission there from a higher up or something at least?" He said, trying to look into Amenhoteps eyes.

"I could get a mission to go there, but I'd have to go with someone since there are a lot of bad people in the land."

"Why not me? We are from the same clan so it makes more scense then just a random person. I'm also a higher rank then you." He said, easing up.

"I can do that. Only thing is, those raiders probably use Rasengan, and I really don't want to take the chance."

"Trust me, We can take them. It's not like they are so powerful they can beat me right?" He said, laughing a bit.

Amenhotep laughed. "Ah, very true, my friend. But first we must prepare. The desert is an unforgiving place, you know."

"Aye, Do you got any idea what kind of supplies we need?" He asked.

"Well for one thing, we need water. There are no lakes in the desert. I was walking through there, and saw a mirage of of a beautiful pond. Turned out I was seeing things."

"Alright..." He took out a notepad and pencil. He wrote down Water, "Anything else?"

"Food. Ummmm, some weapons, camels, and some robes and turbans for the weather."

He wrote them as he said them, "Do you have anything you need to grab besides what we need to buy/grab?"

"I'm gonna need you to blend into the Gravekeeper village so they won't think you're a bandit. I have an extra Gravekeeper uniform. We look like we're the same height and size, so you can probably wear it."

"Maybe, I do want to ask, are you able to kill these bandits?" He askes, then unsheaths his blade, "This is my weapon."

Amenhotep then unsheathed a black jade sword, which hadn't been used in a long time. "If I can kill 10 tomb raiders, then I can kill 20 bandits."
