Suggestion

Well to put it plain and simple I feel declarations are to much to do. 1000 word essays to get a rank up? How about now. Most other sites to rank ups by EXP or moving up tournaments. Roleplayers who are just starting out will probably have trouble getting a rank up due to this essay and will eventually just give up and could even leave because they feel their characters are just to weak and can not contribute to the main story. Please look at this and understand that not everyone is a great writer there for the declaration system is unfair.

Actually, it IS pretty fair, considering how easily you manged to get an EMS. You have to be able to write more than one scentence Y'know. Even though i cannot do it, i still think it IS pretty fair.becides, you said not everyone is a great writer. This essay is to prove that (i think) But let the admins decide.

First of all, your statement is invalid. That is because most of the people on this site are able to write a thousand words. Hell, I became Chunin by writing more than 1,500 words. Also, declarations were never meant to be easy. You have to have advanced literary prowess and some other qualifications in order to be moved up. Besides, people can use these essays to learn from their mistakes and become better writers.

I acknowledge that not everybody is a perfect writer, but moving up in rank was never meant to be a cakewalk. Or that's at least what Corren, Lucine, Crylancelo and Wabbitaro thought when they were making the Combat system and such. If you move up in rank, it shows that you have the qualifications of being Genin, Chunin, Jounin, and so on. It depends on how good a writer you are.

Personally, I don't think Declarations are hard at all. All you have to do is have the intelligence and prove that you are worthy of advancing to the next rank. That shouldn't be very hard to do, considering that most of us do essays in our schools.

Agreed, also the EXP is a bad idea. You get your rank from being a good writer, so with EXP that rank means nothing.

With great power comes great reaponsibility, turtle. If we grant a rank to a user, along with the power that comes with it, it's because we know they won't abuse it. (Or won't be able to.)
